Forumer, HHoW's host, has information on server status here. HHoW is on Server 10.
Unfortunately, they will usually show the server as "online" even when you can't access the forum.

I don't update here. We have our own, little used (fortunately) LJ community for moaning when the site is down. I thought my user name would be relatively easy for people to remember so I posted it here (and I really don't use my journal.) That way, if forumer is down for a while, we can pool our ignorance at hhowupdates.

I was so swamped at work today I didn't have a chance to even look from lunch until after 6 so I didn't even know it was down.
